Where ever He leads....

I am writing this post to share with you the exciting opportunity the Lord has placed in my life. I have been accepted to go as a missionary to Mercy Maternity Center located in the Philippines! I am very thankful to be chosen for this very challenging and selective program. I will be leaving the first of August.
Let me share a little more about MMC. MMCis located in Davao City. I will be serving there as a missionary. MMC provides free care to those who come to the clinic. The clinic has birthed over 17,000 babies in the past 15 years!
Let me share an excerpt about the ministry...
“We are missionaries on the mission field making a difference in the lives of tens of thousands of people. Most ministries in America are carefully insulated to avoid possible liability regarding multiple issues. It's not so on the mission field and many of the fruitful ministries are operating where the rubber meets the road. Likewise, we are fully exposed as we immerse ourselves into chaos of rescuing teenage prostitutes, helping abandoned babies, working with pregnant drug addicts, protecting the dignity of a confused 13 year old pregnant girl who is scared to death of what's happening to her body. Newlife is not for the faint of heart.”
I plan on serving in the Philippines for two years. I will be not only helping in midwifery, but also learning valuable lessons on life as a missionary. The total cost of the program is about $30,000. Most of this cost goes to running the clinic. For more information about the MMC you can visit
Dear friend, in closing I ask of you two things.
  • First, would you commit to praying for me? This is a very intense program that will be trying both physically, mentally, and spiritually. I covet your prayers!
  • Second, if the Lord lays it on your heart, would you consider contributing to help support me as I follow the Lord's leading?
I am so thankful for all the friendship you have given to me and look toward the future to see what the Lord has planned! Thank you for your support as I head to the mission field!
In Christ Alone!
